How I misunderstood the power of AI
And why building still takes time and r=energy

I thought AI solves all our problems.
And then I learned, it doesn't.
How the Promise of the Magic Wand is a Farce
I thought: Oh wow, I is finally arriving - the magic wand, the perfect tool, everything will be so easy now.
I can bring all my ideas to life all the time - how amazing is that.
I started building and building and building..
and in the end, I had a big chaos of apps, tools, frameworks and everything.
I tried every shiny new tool, any new AI
I tried them all - all the tools and tech, all the areas, basically everything.
Image Creation Tools, Video Creation Tools, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, Manus, Elevenlabs, Langchain, Character tools, World Building tools (these are especially fascinating though), Content Creator, Sales Engines, DevTools and as many as I could find.
It's a great learning, but it's also a false path.
As you do not have a 1000 years to build all at once.
And the more you build with AI, the more you realize:
It's still not that easy. Sorry.
Yes, it is not that easy. Still not that easy.
It still requires long hours of work, and long hours of focus.
AI is a magic wand in some areas (powerful ones), but not in others.
You still need to do: admin work, client work, know what you are building, building the right features, changing directions, troubleshooting.
AI for sure helps, but don't fool yourself to believe it will solve everything at once.
What you get though is still a massive productivity boost:
Time Back: Still a lot
And yet, it is absolutely powerful. AI can give you time back, make you more productive and successful - simply as you know how to make things easier and your work more effective
