The Beauty of AI Product Development as a Non Coder
and how you can more quickly test and iterate

I can't code.
But I can build tech products.
Simply by using AI and its capabilities of coding.
But how can you take a good advantages of AI as a non-coder?
Simple:
Let AI be your Coder
Make AI your coder and you are the one systemizing what is going on.
What does that mean?
Bring your Vision
Have your vision ready and keep it in mind when you let AI build the application for you.
Know what you want to build
Have not only a vision in mind, but also a plan and sub-milestones. And ideally, know the context of why you are building what you are building:
What is that for that you are building?
How should it look like?
What processes and workflows should be in there?
Ideally you have not only mapped that out (mentally is enough) but also tried it out without AI. That way, you know where you want to move towards. And you don't lose touch of your main vision, when you go into the weeds of building.
You have a place to make Update Notes
While AI gets better with note taking, it can get confusing. Keep and note down what you work on and make notes. That way you don't lose track of what you are working on. You can also connect the AI (Cursor for example) with various task apps like Linear to directly sync data into those tools for quicker overview.
If you keep those 3 things in mind, you are already on top of the game of most of those that build products with AI.
And then?
It's time to start
Once you have your vision and rough idea, you can feed the vision to AI and ask it to start building.
Start with a plan and then let it go through that plan step by step.
And don't forget to test all the features in between. That way you make sure it keeps working when adding new features. And then, there is only one thing to say:
Stay on Track and Enjoy the Ride!
