If you want to profit from AI, you have to use AI
And why self-driven experimentation is key

When you want to use AI effectively, the single best thing you can do is to use it:
Experiment with it, play around with it, and learn with it.
You will learn so much more valuable insights about AI than anything else can teach you.
How do different AI models answer your questions and which one is best for which question
How you prompt AI to be effective and what forms of guradrails you have to put in to stay on top of the game
Which AI tools work best for yourself and which ones are simply not working
What AI essentially is and how it makes predictions, gives you answers and determines what sentences to write next
I started using AI in 2022. At that time, I had no idea about programming, about AI, data, and Machine Learning.
But I knew that I was hooked: How does that work? What is happening under the hood? And how can I profit from its benefits?
I started to try out as many tools as I could.
First almost driven by an obsession of trying as many tools as possible.
Later more focused, after I found some of them to especially helpful.
And now, I am much more clear about good and not so good products.
I know how to code with AI and how to bring full-stack products to live without writing a single line of code myself - purely by prompting and orchestrating AI to make it work for me and my objectives.
The most important thing that I learned was this:
You learn best when you simply try, when you have a project that interest you, an outcome and when you go try to solve it with AI.
You start to figure out the tools you need
You start to figure out how you workout the structure of your result
You start to ask the right questions of how to bring it to life
You start to realize what AI can do and what it simply is not able to handle well
You improve your critical thinking and your overall skills
For me, using AI has been a game changer.
Not only in the skills and abilities that I gained, but also in the opening of possibilities and chances that working with it bring to you.
It is not a magic wand, but it does help you to move you closer to where you want to be professionally and personally with those projects that you care about! :)
My Tip: Pick a project, as small as it can get, that you care about and ask AI to help you figure it out. Then take it from there. Let me know the results you are seeing. :)
